Welcome to Glen Caravan Park
Glen Caravan Park is a very small family run park, with well-spaced caravans amid trees, lawns and flower borders, ideal for a quiet restful holiday. Glen Park has shower rooms, car parks and a Wendy House for children's use. The caravans are equipped with camping blankets, pillows, cutlery, china and cooking utensils, gas oven cookers, electric lighting, power points and electric kettles. Visitors need to provide their own bed linen, towels and tea towels. Kindly bring necessary bedding and waterproof sheets for young babies.
All caravans have one separate double bedroom. 8 berths have an extra bunk bedroom. Lounge seating makes up the other beds. There is hot and cold water and topilets in all caravans. Caravans have hot and cold water at kitchen sink. All caravans have a microwave inside. There are also fitted gas fires or electric fires and fridges in the caravans. Electric is on a slot meter. Gas supplied free. TV not included, please note if bringing your own TV bring your remote as you may need it to tune into this area.
The 26ft and 28ft FULL SERVICE 6 Berth Caravans have a second bedroom with twin beds, which will convert to make 2nd double if preferred. *28ft This caravan has one twin bed that will convert into a cot. These full service caravans have hot and cold water at kitchen and bathroom sink and also showers and microwaves inside.
We aim to have caravans ready for your occupation from 3.00pm onwards on the day of arrival. Late arrivals after 10pm must be notified by letter or phone call, or we will deem your booking cancelled and reserve the right to relet the caravan. Departure time is 10.00 am on the Saturday of departure. Across the road from Glen Park is Church Ope Cove within walking distance, offering glorious sea views, sheltered bathing, fishing and beautiful walks along the Jurrasic coast. There is a bus stop at the Park entrance, which also offers an open top bus service in the summer months. The shopping centre is a few minutes walking distance offering a wide variety of shops.Portland is noted for its beautiful scenery, varied bird and plant life, and is ideal for those who enjoy walking. Keen anglers will also find endless opportunity for there sport at Portland. There is also a riding school at Portland, which offers lessons or treks to experienced or novice riders. Portland is excellent for climbing, diving, and water all sports enthusiasts.
Our holiday makers find Glen Park to be a good central base, for visiting all that Dorset has to offer, and come back year on year as there is so much to see and do. Weymouth boasts an award winning beach with golden sand, and safe bathing, ideal for small children. Children love to visit the attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Monkey World, Abbotsbury Swannery and Children’s Farm.

For health & safety, & insurance purposes, we will not permit more persons to use the caravans than the berth of the caravan e.g. 6 berth up to 6 persons including children.
A £10 key deposit is payable at time of booking in at Glen Park. This will be returned on day of departure providing there is no damage/loss of equipment and the caravan is in reasonably clean condition.
A deposit of £50 per caravan, per week, is required at the time of booking. Deposits are not refundable.
THERE IS NO EXTRA FOR V.A.T. The balance must be paid by CASH ONLY, on arrival at the Park.
The balance once paid, is not returnable for any reason. Cancellations must be notified or the balance must be paid by the hirer. |
